Hey Makers! It’s lights out and away we go for another DIY Shake-Up!
I have been a fan of F1 since watching Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello race together for Ferrari. The 2022 F1 car is one of my favourite design models, and I knew what my next project would be.
The model is based off the concept car and after downloading the files off Thingiverse I immediately noticed some potential issues, but this created a fun little challenge of editing the wheels, lower nose, floor, brakes, halo, suspension, and more in Tinkercad.
I used Polyfilla for any gaps on the model and I gave all the parts a light sanding to help smooth out certain areas. The next step was to paint the model using images of the 2022 Alfa Romeo F1 car as reference.
I am very satisfied with my end results as I have wanted to print a model like this for a while!
